That's not a helluva lot of money on Nike's part... but I guess this could be a big deal since Tebow technically isn't even in the NFL yet! Yeah, 300K isnt much for a big name like Nike and a full-time job, but for a couple endorsements and shooting commercials? Wow. There's no telling how many people will sign him like Gatorade, Tag Heuer watches, and anyone else that dropped tiger since he went through his deal. "Gator born, Gator bred, and when I die I'll be Gator dead"

That's funny, I mean the Tiger part. I hope our boy just is the best at everything he does. I dont think I will ever love any one Gator as much as I did this one. Good for Tim, it's about time he started cashing in after all he has done.

So timmy got a shoe contract with nike. Who knows, selling shoes could be a nice career for him if that football thing doesn't work out.

A $300,000 deal from Nike is probably one of the lowest sponsorship deals Nike has. Reggie Bush had over 10 million a year in endorsments before he was drafted. Maybe Nike is planning on releasing a signature line of clip boards for third string pine-riders and Tebow will be the front man for the ad campaign! I can see it now "Make the most of your limited skill set and short career by holding a Nike clip board." |
