I don't know about that. Meyer obviously has a huge winning reputation that helps out with recruiting "more than we will ever know"...

Also, after the ineffective oline for most of the year, and ineffective play calling, I'm not completely sold on Coach A... at least in a permanent HC position 

Not sold on coach A either, sometimes wonder if I am sold on him as a play caller.

Ive got my doubs due to the offense this season, but that may have had a lot to do with losing Percy and Louis more than anyone wants to believe. I hope if he goes into 2010 as head coach for the season he will name someone else as OL coach and Off Coordinator so he can focus on 1 task. I dont know though....

 Bitter fan - Your point doesnt make sense. If we wanted to have a permanent coach and "dump Meyer" (which I would never put those words together after the class he has brought to our University), we wouldve gone out and hired a proven top teir coach, not Addazio. We couldve had interviews with Stoops, Shannahan, Wittingham, Strong, ..... The list is a mile long. 

Addazio will not be our long term coach. If Meyer doesnt come back, they will  move ahead with a hire like one of the names Rusty mentioned above.

    Rusty is exactly right, loosing Percy and Louis has been rough, not to mention Dubose never got off the ground this year. I did forget a bit about that this year.

Don't get so down on Addazio everyone...Remember how much everyone hated Dan Mullen the past few years until we ended up with a few rings. Addazio has our offense going against the best defenses in the nation and doing pretty well, plus look what we did to Cincy

True, but I still dont think he's done well enough in one year as Offensive Coordinator to be a head coach. He may not be a bad coordinator, but he's not a super-amazing one yet either. Either way doesnt matter, because I doubt he'll be the Head Coach come August anyway! Get well Urban!
