Tit For Tat with an Oklahoma Fan Part 1Thu, 01/01/2009 - 9:49am — Gator Tailgating
1. Should Tim Tebow go ahead and play safety in the MNC to raise his draft stock? That’s a funny question that I have never heard. Tebow was a linebacker before being converted to quarterback. However, I think at the safety position we should be just fine. Ahmad Black has six interceptions and has been a huge surprise playing in a position that has lost Jamar Hornsby, Bryan Thomas, and Dorian Monroe. To answer the question, Tebow should stick to quarterback and we will be just fine at safety. 2. If Jeff Demps is really the fastest player in college football history why don't they just throw him the deep ball every snap and let him outrun the defense? Yes, Jeff Demps did run a 10.01 100 meter dash. However, that does not mean he can just run up the field as there are many factors. One, the play has to run perfectly every time from blocking to the pass. Secondly, while he may be the may be the fastest player on the field that does not mean he is 10 yards ahead of every player after 20 yards. 3. Why hasn't the University of Florida just replaced Percy Harvin's bum ankle with a Bionic one yet? They can rebuild him, they have the technology. Great question. Percy has had problems with his heel since high school and his ankle for almost all of college and it doesn’t ever seem to get better. The most recent report is that he is “probable” for the MNC. 4. Is it true that under required items for freshman year at UF, cut off jeans are number six on the list? No. 5. Florida fans are notorious for being one of the rowdiest crowds in college football. If they had a battle royal for the Fandom crown who would they play? It is tough to pick just one. Texas A&M has the 12th man, Michigan has the largest stadium attendance, and well Houston averages only 2,546 people per game, but they still play with heart. It is a tough question because so many different schools offer so many different things. Daniel Thompson is a Contributor to the Bleacher Report and a Gator football supporter. lol, whats with this cut off jeans thing, haha, I see it every time I go on some "national" forum talking about the gators, dunno where it comes from, but I don't think a gator (male) student has wore cutoff jeans since 1984 probably ;P.
Its something Georgia fans
Its something Georgia fans came up with to talk trash to Gator fans when theyve gotten their tail beat 15 out of the past 18 years. Here's an article that explains it in detail...
