Tim Tebow will Return for Senior Season

Tebow High Fives

To put an exclamation mark on a great party to celebrate Florida's third National Championship, Tim Tebow stood up and confirmed what every Gator fan had been praying for since Thursday night. "Oh and by the way, one more thing. Let's dot it again! I'm coming back!" shouted Tebow as he walked back onto the stage.

Tebow had given a speech that sounded very much like a player that was leaving. He was glad he came to the University of Florida, glad to share in the memories, thankful to Coach Meyer for recruiting him, etc. It sounded like a farewell speech to Gator Nation. Then, as he closed the speech with a Bibile scripture (Phillipians 4:13) and walked off stage, you could feel the collective sigh among Gator fans as they started to question why he would leave. Then, as quickly as he closed his speech, he reopened it by walking back on stage and announcing his return for his Senior season.

Now, Gator Nation will hopefully await more good news from Brandon Spikes and Percy Harvin. There have been sources that have leaked information regarding Brandon Spikes decision relying heavily on Tebow's as his recruiting decision to come to Florida originally was. Percy Harvin has been widely speculated as to probably leaving for the NFL Draft. Until the official announcement is made though, no one can be sure of anything other than a great leader under center for the 2009 season.
