The First 2009 Season Tailgate: Orange & Blue Game

Image

GatorTailgating.com will be hosting a Tailgate party to kickoff the 2009 season right beside University Avenue in front of the Library West before April 18th's Orange and Blue game. It it just across the street from the parking lot where Burger King used to be. (The map is attached below.) At the tailgate, the Master chef, Gabe, will be grilling up some Kabobs as we listen to some tunes,  enjoy some Bourbon Meyers, and kick off 2009 in style!

There will be some Tailgate Toss and Flip Cup going on, as well, for anyone wanting to  practice up for the 2009 Tailgate Championships!  I've been hearing rumors about last year's Beer Pong Champions (Daniel and Vince) getting a little out of practice during the offseason! Someone may want to try and take their undefeated record away early this year!

Whether you're there for the game, the food, the drinks, or the tailgating; be sure to stop by and hang out for a while when you're on the way up to the stadium. We'll make sure you have a good time!

Other Orange and Blue Weekend Events are as follows:

  • 2nd Annual Fastest Gator on Campus Contest
  • Powder Puff Tournament on Friday evening
  • Punt, Pass, & Kick Contest on Friday Evening
  • Official Gator Store Yard Sale (in the North End Zone)
  • ESPN Taping (we haven't confirmed if it will be live like last year or tape delayed)
  • Orange & Blue Scrimmage
