After Saturday, let's face it. We Gators need to laugh at something. Yes, we won and are still undefeated. Yes, we still control our own destiny. Yes, we're even #1 in the BCS poll. But still...Does it really feel like all that is true when you gauge your emotions after this weekend? I know it doesn't for me.

Personally, to tell you how much I am worried about this past weekend, I'm concerned heading to Starkville this weekend. I know it's Mississippi State, but Dan Mullen knows our team backward and forward. I also know the history of Gator football teams and the state of Mississippi dating back to pre-Spurrier years. If you aren't a long-time Gator fan, know this: It isn't pretty.

The only good thing I can remember the state of Mississippi doing for the Gator football team is MSU beating us in 2004 to officially retire the Ron Zook era, and even that was a loss!

It's not that I think MSU is a better or more talented team whatsoever, but this Gator team just seems to be in a funk. I'm just hoping this year's Starkville is last year's Fayetteville; where the Gators catch fire and really take the rest of the season by storm.

Remember the fourth quarter at Arkansas last year when the Gators unleashed Demps and Rainey on the Hogs? From then on, the Gators were a different team. I just pray they can do the same thing this season, because if they continue to play sloppy like they did against Arkansas they will not end the season undefeated.
