Interesting article on ESPN Page 2 today. Its about Ohio State running up the score. It praises the act of running up the score as a way to flex your muscles and establish your dominance over your opponent.

"Has Tressel finally figured out that winning by 35 is better than winning by 21, no matter how you get to that total? Has he finally bought into the style points (sic) factor in the rankings system? Maybe. Hopefully."

The Gators have won their last 5 games by an average of 37.5 points but it never seems as tasteless as what Ohio State did to Northwestern on saturday. What do you guys think?

I don't have any problem with OSU running up the score. It's their job to do so. If Northwestern didn't want the score ran up, they should play better football

I agree Mike. I remember everyone talking bad about Sprurrier back in the 73-7 days. As long as you arent leaving your first stringers in, there's nothing wrong with it at all IMO. The 2nd and 3rd string have practiced all year to play. Why make them run 3 downs up the middle and punt when they can get valuable playing experience on the field in an actual game?

far as im concerned, lifes been good...of course there are a lot of lsu fans that aren't happy, but they don't understand playing a young qb for the future. lee does have a lot of td's for other teams though. poor kid has the worst luck ive ever seen, dropped passes, deflections off of our receivers hands, and just poor qb coaching if you ask me. just sad to hear a rs freshman get booed.

bama game was great, even though we lost, blocking the kick with 3 seconds left to send it to ot made the stadium louder than ive ever heard (georgia game in 2003 and florida last year)

even though we still have ole piss and arky, it looks like we are heading to the cotton bowl, and it what is a rebuilding year (only because ryan perilloux was kicked off the team), ill take a new years day bowl and 9-3, hopefully 10-3 with a bowl win.

really hoping y'all can kill bama. their team isn't as good as everyone thinks, and you guys are better than everyone thinks. should be

1 texas tech
2 florida
3 bama
4 oklahoma
5 texas

Nice comments Tiger man.  Off subject but I love partying in BR.  Once spent a couple nights at Pleasant Hall in the Gov-nuhs Suite.  Long story but lots of fun on campus over at the "Lake", chasing some ADPi's.

I think Bama is overrated as well, however they might just come into Atlanta with the same attitude we had in 06 versus OSU.   We need to maintain our focus and energy and let Tebow be Tebow but first we have  to kick the cocks and beat Half A$$ U.  Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

i dont think you are getting ahead of yourselves. i think you guys will cover the spread (22.5 now) against USCe and prolly kill miami, who barely beat VT last night.
