James Smith Recovers a Fumble for the Gators

After dismantling Vandy in Nashville, the Gators returned home for a recently born rivalry game with South Carolina and the Ol' Ball Coach himself. After being defeated by Spurrier in '05 and almost losing again in '06 despite having much more talent, Coach Meyer was determined to continue the win streak over South Carolina in the Swamp.

Beginning with Spikes' interception return for a Touchdown, the Gators had their way with the Gamecocks and scored touchdowns on offense, defense, and special teams. It was the worst beating a Steve Spurrier-coached team had ever recieved. Click "Read More" for the highlights.
