After losing to Ole Miss and coming alive in the fourth quarter to finish off Arkansas, the Gators would host the defending National Champion LSU Tigers the next week. It placed the 2007 BCS Champion versus the 2006 BCS Champion, and would determine if the Gators would get their revenge on the team that stole the game in the fourth quarter in Baton Rouge the year before and had prank called Tebow so much that he had to change his cell phone number.
