Good Ole Cajun Burgers - Posted Mon, 06/30/2008 - 11:48am

I'm from Louisiana and we know how to cook a pretty mean Cajun burger.  Funny thing is it might be the simplest recipe out there.  Only three ingredients are needed but this one will have you licking your chops all day long.

Simply take you burger, sprinkle it lightly with some garlic salt and Tony Chachere's seasoning and slap it on the grill.  Extremely simple, nothing altogether complicated and takes little to no time to cook.  But trust me when I say you will love this Cajun burger!

Do you mix the garlic salt and seasoning into hte meat? Or simply on top? Also, can you buy that seasoning at publix?

Nah, make your burgers and then sprinkle it on right before you throw them on the grill.  I think you can buy it at most major stores, although I've never personally picked it up at a Publix.  It's a fairly popular seasoning, you shouldn't have much trouble finding it.  It's a Creole blend of spices that you can put on literally anything.

Sounds awesome. I generally mix some Seasoned salt like Lowrys and some Worcestshire sauce in the hamburger meat, and that's really good too. I'll try the cajun burger next time!
