Heavily favored, the Florida Gator football team came into the Swamp with most fans expecting a blowout of 2007 (59-31) proportions. The Tennessee defense, however, proved to be stout and limited the Gators to three field goals and two touchdowns for a total of 322 offensive yards.

Tim Tebow and Jeff Demps scored the Gators two TDs, giving the Florida Gator football team 13 consecutive wins, a new Florida school record. Tebow had one interception and one fumble, from which the Vols drove down the field (with the help of a 15 yard celebration penalty) and scored their only touchdown.

Tennessee quarterback Jonathan Crompton had two interceptions – one by Joe Haden, and the other by Ahmed Black on a last ditch effort by Lane’s Volunteers to continue their drive and stay in the game.

Well, what happen to the mighty gators and the blowout they were going to put on the Vols? How about it Rusty, what about that "half a hundred" you were supposed to hang on the Vols????? I'm confused about 2 things:

Gaytorsux : what team do you like? Or are you just a scorned gator hater?

Rusty/Mike: that picture above, not from this year right? Last time I checked Tebow was white...I don't even tan that well?! Look at his legs

We didn't get 50 on them, but it was still an awesome game and great win for one of the 2 most hyped up games this year (LSU being the other one). Go Gators!

Yeah its hard to drop 50

Yeah its hard to drop 50 when one team runs the ball 85% of the time and uses up the clock even when that comes back to kill them later... also when your star defensive player (brandon spikes... just in case you didnt know gaytorssux) leaves the game early and deonte thompson doesnt even play then that could be a good reason... regardless we won and everybody is still confused about who you like but if it is FSU, Georgia, or Tenn (3 of our rivals again clearing it up because you dont seem that smart) then check your record because i believe you have a number nigger then 0 in the loss column
