The Coaching Staff Has Their Eyes Set on 2011 QB Kiehl Frazier

As far as being in the recruiting mix, the Florida Gators are always right there.  This is even more apparent with the intense recruiting of Arkansas stud QB Keihl Frazier, a 6'3'', 215 pound 4A All State prospect.

Unfortunately for the Gators, there are about 30 other schools in the mix as well.

Frazier, who threw for nearly 4,000 yards and 48 touchdowns last season, is receiving offers from top schools such as Notre Dame, Nebrasksa, Miami, and LSU among others, according to Gatorcountry.com.

Reports claim that Frazier would like to visit Gainesville this spring and has already formed a friendship with some of the Gator coaching staff.  Frazier's father was quoted on Gatorcountry as saying that he and his son enjoy the winning ways of Florida and the tradition of the Gator football program.

According to the article, Frazier is also a strong student.  He holds a 3.8 GPA and the Gators see in him the type of leadership and character that Urban Meyer wants in Gainesville.

In a spread type offense, like Florida runs, it appears that Frazier could be a multi-dimensional QB that can make plays with a solid passing game and with his legs too.

The Gators have extended Frazier the offer, now we will have to wait and see if the Gator recruiting staff can get their man. Here is a video with a news report with some highlights of his work.
